Meditation
Riverside Meditation Group is an opportunity for anyone with a meditation practice to have regular group support. While there may be brief guided meditation at times, most meditations are silent and still. There are related talks and readings drawing from mindfulness teachings, psychology, philosophy, literature, poetry, and the wisdom found in many spiritual traditions. On occasion, we read a related book together for discussion.
Virtual meditation does one 25-30 minute meditation, and discussion of a shared topic.
In-person meditation allows for two, 20 minute meditations, separated by walking meditation or Qigong. All movement practices offer an opportunity to bring the meditative mind to motion.
